Boat designer Bill Dixon takes over the design of the new sailing boat Ocean Pearl 62.1, which will be added to Ocean Yachts SA fleet in September of 2018.
Bill Dixon, is one of the biggest yacht designers in the world, while he has worked with the famous shipyard Moody. In the early years he was apprenticed next to Angus Primrose as a sailing boat architect and after the sudden death of Primrose, Bill Dixon managed to excel. The basic principle of his philosophy is to translate and make the dreams of his clients come truem resulting in the design of unique ships.
The new boat will have a length of 62.1ft, with a modern design and will feature all the elements of quality, durability, safety, comfort and correct handling.
